Ben Carpenter

Ben became Chairman of CRT in June 2009. Ben was formerly Vice Chairman of RBS (formerly Greenwich Capital) and served as Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer from 2000-2007. Prior to that, Ben was Chief Operating Officer of RBS with responsibility for FCM sales and floor operations, U.S. primary dealership sales and trading, proprietary trading and the financing desk. Prior to joining RBS, Ben was employed by Morgan Stanley and began his career at Bankers Trust as a Commercial Lending Officer. Ben holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
