Michael Derchin

Mr. Derchin joined CRT’s research group in 2010 after working at FTN Equity Capital Markets. Prior to that, he spent 10 years on the buy side, including five years at Tiger Management where he headed the transpor-tation group which included global coverage of airlines, aerospace, air freight, surface transportation and cruise lines. Mr. Derchin began work on the sell side with stints at Oppenheimer, First Boston, Drexel Burnham, and NatWest. Before his Wall Street career, Mr. Derchin held management positions at Pan Am and American Airlines. He holds a BA from Brooklyn College, an MBA from CCNY and did doctoral work at Syracuse University.
