David Epstein, CFA

David Epstein joined CRT Capital in 2010. He previously was the publisher of “Convertible and Credit Insight”, an institutional research newsletter focused on the convertible and high yield markets. From 2006 through 2009, Mr. Epstein was a research analyst at investment management firm Advent Capital Management. At Advent, he looked across the capital structure with a particular focus on convertibles. From 1999 through 2006, Mr. Epstein was a research analyst at investment management firm Froley Revy, where he also focused on convertibles. Mr. Epstein has concentrated on a number of sectors over the years, including energy, utilities, materials, financials, telecommunications and various consumer and industrial groups. He received his BA from Johns Hopkins and his MBA from UCLA.
