Lance W. Vitanza, CFA

Senior Vice President

Mr. Vitanza joined CRT in 2010 as a Senior Research Analyst covering the Media & Telecommunications industries. He was previously a Principal and Senior Analyst at Knighthead Capital Management, a $1.6bn credit-distressed hedge fund he helped launch in June 2008. Prior to his two years at Knighthead, Mr. Vitanza spent five years as a Senior Analyst on the Distressed / Special Situations desk at Concordia Advisors, a global, multi-strategy hedge fund headquartered in New York City. Prior to working on the buy side, he spent five years as a leveraged finance banker, including positions as an Associate at BT Alex. Brown and as a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Vitanza began his career working for Dr. Arthur B. Laffer at his San Diego-based economic research & consulting boutique. In 1992, he graduated Magna cum Laude with a degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
