C. Michael Vaughn, Jr.

CMV joined CRT in 1991. Michael was formerly Senior Vice President and Head of Convertible Sales, Trading and Origination at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to joining DBL, Michael was Director and Head of Convertible Sales and Trading at Credit Suisse First Boston. When he joined Credit Research & Trading (CRT predecessor), the firm was focused exclusively on sales and research in distressed debt. Over the next several years Michael, and Chris Young who joined CRT in 1993, broadened the firm’s focus to include convertible bond, high yield debt and equity --sales, trading and research. During that time CRT grew from five to more than one hundred employees. Michael holds a B. A. from Princeton University.
