Private Equity Overview

CRT Private Equity is the private equity arm of CRT Capital Group, LLC, a Stamford Connecticut based employee-owned institutional securities and investment firm. CRT Private Equity seeks to make investments ranging from $5 million to $50 million in emerging and middle market Information Technology and Healthcare companies with strong underlying value and growth prospects.

Potential companies will generally have revenues ranging from $5 million to $200 million and be cash flow break even to cash flow positive. We have a very flexible investment mandate which is driven by the individual opportunity, rather than being bound by investment stage or deal structure. Investments may include early stage and growth financings, recapitalizations, restructurings, industry consolidations, and buyouts.

The structure of our investments is likewise broad to include private equity securities, mezzanine securities, debt and/or equity linked securities and minority as well as majority positions. In all cases we are looking to be active partners with management and co-investors in strategy development, implementation, and general oversight.
